The outer cover is made of 19 Momme mulberry silk. Unlike the version with cotton jersey, this allows the child to come into direct contact with the smooth silk surface.

19 Momme refers to the fabric weight of the silk textile. 19 Momme corresponds to a silk fabric of approximately 82 g/m². The surface combines a fine, smooth feel with a substantial material quality suitable for silk products.

Why is this version more expensive?

Both ORIGNEE® silk sleeping bags have a filling of 100% mulberry silk. The essential difference lies in the outer material.

In the more affordable version, the silk filling is combined with a soft cotton jersey cover. In this premium version, however, the entire outer cover is made of 19 Momme mulberry silk.

This means significantly more silk is used for this version, and the exterior features the characteristically smooth and fine feel of silk fabric. This also explains the higher price of this version.
