White silk pillowcase made of 100% mulberry silk

The ORIGNEE® silk pillowcase in white is made of 100% mulberry silk in 19 momme silk satin. The smooth silk surface feels soft on the skin and hair and generates less mechanical friction while sleeping than rougher textile surfaces.

The classic white pillowcase is available in 40 × 80 cm and 80 × 80 cm. A generously overlapping envelope closure keeps the pillow inside the case without the need for a zipper.

100% mulberry silk in 19 momme

For the pillowcase, we use 19 momme silk satin made of 100% mulberry silk. The momme count describes the surface weight of a silk fabric and is an important specification for classifying silk fabrics.

Smooth silk surface for hair and skin

Silk satin has a particularly smooth surface. As a result, less mechanical friction is created during contact with hair than with rougher fabric surfaces. This is particularly relevant for a pillowcase, as hair and face lie directly on the fabric for many hours.

Envelope closure without a zipper

The silk pillowcase has an envelope closure with a generous overlap. The pillow is completely enclosed by the case, while a zipper or other hard closure elements are avoided.

Care for your silk pillowcase properly

The silk pillowcase should be washed gently at a maximum of 30 °C using a suitable silk detergent. Do not bleach or tumble dry; instead, allow it to air dry.
