Choosing the right filling density
As standard, we offer silk duvets with three filling densities, which depend primarily on the temperature in the bedroom:

When choosing the right silk duvet, your personal need for warmth is also important, which is different for every person. While some people, mostly women, often have cold feet, freeze easily and therefore prefer a heated bedroom, others are more prone to sweating and like to sleep with the window open.
People with a strong need for warmth
If you have a strong need for warmth, get cold easily or often have cold feet, you have two options when choosing a duvet.
- Original winter blanket
- Orignee winter blanket and Summer blanket combined
You can use the all-season blanket most times of the year. On the hottest summer nights you sleep under the summer blanket and in winter you can connect the two blankets with the connecting hook. This way you are guaranteed to stay warm.
Of course you can also use the combined blanket all year round. Thanks to the good heat regulation, the blanket remains breathable despite the thick filling.
People with little need for warmth
Some people with less need for warmth sweat easily and are always too warm.
Then we recommend a light one Summer blanket for most seasons. A summer blanket is often enough for children or teenagers.

The right size
Standard sizes in Germany are: 135 x 200 cm, 155 x 220 cm, 220 x 200 cm, 240 x 220 cm.
While 135 x 200 cm is common as a single blanket, the oversize 155 x 220 cm is very cozy and suitable for people over 180 cm.
For couples who are both no taller than 180cm, the size 220 x 200cm is suitable. If you would like to have a little more space under the ceiling, the size 240 x 220 cm would be recommended.
